Full Moon Beer Fuels Camaraderie

Every month on the full moon, a group of women brewers from around the state of Arizona brew a 10 barrel batch of a beer to celebrate and honor their collective camaraderie.  The beer is brewed and sold at Crooked Tooth Brewing Co. in Tucson.

Those beers are “always one of our top sellers, if not our top then the second or third,” said Crooked Tooth’s Julie Vernon in a Tucson.com article. “It goes really quickly. People come in specifically for the moon beer, which is super exciting.”

The brewers are members of the Tucson chapter of Pink Boots and find the experience a way to connect on a regular basis with other women in the industry, doing what they love to do; brewing and sharing beer.

“We obviously really, really love beer and we love all different styles of beer and we love crafting it,” Vernon said in the article. “One of my favorite things about beer is that it brings people together. You get to laugh and connect. It’s kind of like a bridge. You sit down with a beer and there’s a lot of connections that happen.”
