Whole Foods will open its first in-store brewery in Houston, Texas in early November.
The store will serve up to 20 beers on draft at the 40-seat bar, about half of which will be brewed by the brewery inside the store. The company said the brewing system has a capacity of 400-500 barrels per year “with room to grow.”
Whole Foods has also said that they may distribute draft beer to other retailers in the region.
The natural food chain plans to open a second in-store brewery at a new Whole Foods location being built in San Jose, California
