SWS Buys Out Odom
Southern Wine & Spirits announced that they will buy the balance of Odom Corp out of the two companies’ distribution joint-venture.
The deal ends three years of co-operation between the two firms in the states of Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming and Utah.
SWS is about to open a 350,000-square-foot distribution center in the state of Washington.
Following the buyout, Southern WS’s Pacific Northwest headquarters will be located in Kirkland, Washington.
Odom will remain in its existing Bellevue, Washington headquarters and will maintain its beer, soft drink and non-alcoholic beverage business in the Northwest and Alaska.
Odom will continue partnering with Southern in Alaska.
