Reyes Beverage Group made another big push in California, announcing that they have acquired DBI Beverage in the north state. The sale is slated to close in September. The acquisition has been rumored for many months and was no surprise to the industry.
DBI is a MillerCoors, Constellation and craft house with a sizable non-alcoholic portfolio servicing a large portion of northern California through nine warehouses.
This is the second acquisition for Reyes in California this year having purchased Central Coast Distributing in February. With the DBI purchase, it is estimated that Reyes will now sell about 40% of the total distributed beer in the state
