Reyes Acquires Another CA Wholesaler
Reyes Holdings has acquired yet another beer distribution company. Golden Brands, a subsidiary of Reyes will acquire the brands of Sacanni Distributing based in Sacramento, California.
Saccani is an “all other brand’ distributor which was founded in 1933 at the repeal of Prohibition. They carry a wide selection of craft beers and non-alcoholics brands. Craft brands include Stone Brewing, Lagunitas, and local brewery Sudwerk. Golden Brands recently operated nine Northern California facilities and distributes 27 million cases annually. The acquisition will add about another 1.5 million cases per year.
Reyes has been on a buying spree over the last two years buying up numerous smaller wholesalers across the state.
