The most recent Nielsen CGA on-premise report shows that trends continue to slowly move in the right direction, with week-on-week velocity growing +2% September 5 vs August 29 across the U.S.
The report gathers on-premise sales data from Illinois, New York, Texas, Florida and California. New York, California, Texas and Florida have all seen single digit week-on-week growth, with Illinois velocity flat. On average, sales have increased +240% in the week of September 5, 2020 vs March 28 when the on-premise shutdown commenced.
