The hard seltzer category was dominated by two brands during the first 24 months of its explosive growth. Others have jumped in as the growth shows no signs of slowing. Craft brewers have joined the partly as have all of the major-brand brewers. But you know its “a thing” when the non-alcoholic beverage behemoth Coca-Cola enters a category.
Coca-Cola has announced plans to release its first hard seltzer in the U.S. under their Topo Chico brand in the first half of 2021.
