According to a new study released by the Beer Institute and the National Beer Wholesalers Association, the U.S. beer industry contributed a staggering $252.6 billion to the economy last year; more than twice the impact of the wine industry.
The study also concluded that the industry (which includes brewers, wholesalers, retailers, suppliers and induced industries) is responsible for wages of $78.6 billion nationwide.
