Ball Corp in association with Cask Brewing Systems, will be offering two free tours of their aluminum can and end plant in Golden, Colorado during the Great American Beer Festival. The Golden plant is located on a 20-acre site 15 miles west of Denver, Colorado. It was the first of Ball Corporation’s metal beverage container plants and is now one of 20 plants in North America and 12 plants in Europe. It is currently supplying aluminum cans to a number of craft brewers in the Colorado area. Ball Corporation makes more than 123 million cans per day equaling 45 billion recyclable beverage cans annually. The tours will be held on Friday, October 1. Transportation from the GABF Headquarters, The Embassy Suites Hotel, to the Golden plant and back will be provided free of charge by Cask Brewing Systems.
