The House gave final passage today to a $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package that includes the American Rescue Plan which includes relief to help the hospitality industry including brewers.
The vote of 220 to 211 sends the legislation to President Joe Biden’s desk for his signature.
A critical component of the Rescue Plan is a Restaurant Revitalization Fund designed to provide direct financial relief to hard-hit on-premise food and dining businesses. Food and drink entities with 20 locations or fewer will qualify for grants equal to the difference between 2020 and 2019 revenue, up to $10 million per company and $5 million per physical location.
