There are many great stories to tell at the Great American Beer Festivals awards ceremony each year, but how about a brewery that has won more medals than any other craft brewery, has been awarded a medal every year they have entered except one, and has a beer that has won more medals than any other beer at the festival. Alaska Brewing Company, of course. This year, its Smoked Porter won yet another medal for an unprecedented twelfth time, a bronze. Alaskan Barleywine also won a silver medal, giving Alaska Brewing a grand total of 28 medals over the years.
