No surprise. Anheuser-Busch has announced that it would move production of Stella Artois from Europe to four of its U.S. breweries for domestic consumers.
Stella Artois was the flagship beer of InBev, which acquired Anheuser-Bush in 2008 to form the corporate conglomerate Belgium-based Anheuser-Busch InBev.
Stella Artois dates back to 1717 when Sébastien Artois purchased the Den Hoorn brewery in Leuven, Belgium and renamed it Brouwerij Artois.
