At a time when there is excess capacity in the industry due to slowly declining sales of beer over the last decade, it is a statement of confidence in the hard seltzer category for a company to invest in new capacity. White Claw sales hit $1.5 million last year and the company said it was confined from selling more due to capacity restraints. The company has said they expect to double sales in 2020
