Glazer’s Beer and Beverage has purchased GLI Distributing of San Antonio, Texas. GLI is an “all other” wholesaler, a rare breed as consolidation in the middle tier has swept most small wholesalers into larger companies aligned with a major national brand.
GLI sells craft brands from Boston Beer, Boulevard and small Austin-based Uncle Billy’s to ‘olden Goldie’ brands like Genesee and Colt 45.
Glazer is a large alcohol beverage distribution company with beer distributorships in six states and ownership in Southern Glazer’s the wine and spirits wholesaler.
