News BA Sets Up Fundraiser for Adam Dulye Who Lost Home in Marshall Fire

On December 30, 2021, Brewers Association Executive Chef Adam Dulye, and his two dogs narrowly escaped the town of Superior before the flames from Colorado’s most destructive wildfire in history engulfed their house and destroyed more than 1,000 homes and structures in 24 hours.

Adam and his dogs are safe; but everything they had in life along with their entire neighborhood was completely destroyed by the swift-moving fire. In the time it took to get the dogs in his truck, the fire was on the street so Adam left with the clothes on his back.

If you don’t know Adam personally, you have seen his always-smiling face at any BA event. Not only does Adam oversee all food operations at BA events, he travels around the world representing American craft beer and espousing the culinary delight of pairing food with craft beer. He is also the author of the book The Beer Pantry: Cooking at the Intersection of Craft Beer and Great Food.

The BA has set up a GoFundMe for those who wish to help Adam as he begins the process of rebuilding and searching for more short- and long-term housing. The BA has contributed $10,000 to the fund.
