Hard Seltzer isn’t the only red-hot category in the beer industry.
Non-alcoholic beers are continuing to gain popularity as well. Sales were up 38% in the U.S. last year and increased by a huge 105% in Australia in 2020. What was once a tiny category has now caught the attention of craft brewers, including Boston Beer, which announced late last year they were entering the market with a non-alc hazy IPA.
Investors are noticing. Athletic Brewing, the main leader in non-alcoholic craft beer has announced that the company raised $50 million in a Series C funding from investors, spearheaded by the Alliance Consumer Growth (ACG) and TRB advisors, according to an article in Brewbound.
