Julie Verratti, owner and operator of Denizens Brewing Co. in Maryland, was appointed to serve as an associate administrator of field operations for the U.S. Small Business Administration under President Joe Biden. Prior to co-founding Denizens, she was a Presidential Management Fellow and Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Small Business Administration where she focused on the Affordable Care Act, veteran’s entrepreneurship, women’s business ownership, and local economic development policies. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Brewers Association.
