News Survey Results from Reopened On-Premise is Encouraging

The latest on-premise research from Nielsen as reported in Just Drinks has focused specifically on consumer perception within states that have lifted ‘shelter-in-place restrictions.’

According to Nielsen, the social distancing measures that are being put into place don’t appear to be having a strong negative effect on consumers’ visits which is good news for the alcohol beverage industry. One result of the survey is that 33% of consumers from major cities in Texas and Florida have gone out to eat in a bar/restaurant in the last two weeks.
