Hi all,
Wondering how your keg cleaning machines are programmed -- what cycles, how long each cycle lasts, etc. Looking to set up a basic caustic/rinse/purge cleaning program that goes as quickly as possible with good results.

Sorry, but I've got to add some steps, not shorten it. Ours had purge/caustic/purge/rinse/purge/sanitize/purge/charge_CO2. Unfortunately, we didn't have a whole lot of confidence in the washer, so we'd do this 2-3 times consecutively to make sure they were clean. Not a quick process.

I'm confident that I can skip the separate sanitation step if I use 80ºC chlorinated caustic for the cleaning cycle. Some keg washing machines don't even include the option for a separate sanitize cycle.

I do it the "old fashioned" way. No programming here, just use an old stop watch. Rinse, caustic, rinse. Clean all the kegs, then flush the pump and reservoir. Fill with Iodaphor solution. Sanitize, purge. The end.
