Hotels in Austin

Hi everyone,
Planning my trip to the CBC in Austin and i wondered if anyone
have hotel recommendation in town, downtown and to a
reasonable price, i mean beer and livemusic, wont be spending much time
in the room anyway.

What do you consider reasonable?

Most in downtown is pretty expensive for the CBC, pretty much everything within walking distance is going to run you 150-200/night. I haven't seen anywhere that beats the rate that the BA negotiated with the Hilton (though I think they might be sold out).

I`ve been searching around and found a close enough place
for 600$ for the week, just 1,5 mile from the action!
