Anyone have a tip on keeping bottles clean during bottling for packing cases the next day? It seems we spend way too much time "polishing" bottles while we're packing!

Are they just getting dusty? How about using some shrink wrap.

It isn't dust that's the problem....we rinse the bottles as we fill them, and that leaves some water marks....but I think the main problem is the silicone on the bottles - or whatever is on them when we purchase them new.

Car dealers use deionized water to rinse the new cars on the lots to solve that problem. Maybe you've just got a lot of minerals in your water. A normal softener may help, or a expensive de-ionizer will help, or maybe just a little non-foaming surfactant in your rinse water would fix it.
