Greetings fellow brewers.

I am now selling brewkettles and hot liquor tanks as well as mash tuns now to offer a full brewhouse for sales. These brewhouses can come with a heat exchanger and pumps, or you can order these brewhouses in an ala carte fashion by the individual piece.

The kettle has a 300 gallon flood volume, so more than enough for 7 bbls. Steam fired, with whirlpool arm, 12 inch legs, jacketed, insulated, 2 inch TC outlet with valve and concentric reducer, top manway, 8 inch steam vent are some of the features. Price for this tank is $7700.

I also can make you a 450 gallon HLT with a 1500 watt thermostatically controlled heating element. This element is not large enough to heat the water quickly, but if you are recovering your water from your heat exchaner you do not need to heat in the HLT. So, this element will maintain the temperature, but if you want to heat, I can install a 10KW thermostatically controlled element, but the cost is significant and adds $900 to the cost of the HLT. This tank would be double wall, insulated, all stainless, and come with a top manway and 1.5 or 2 inch TC outlet and valve. Price $3300

Heat exchanger is $3000 for an all stainless plate and frame heat exchanger from Mueller.

Pumps are about $1100 from LC Thomsen and are all stainless. Both the pumps and heat exchanger can be ordered individually or as part of a system.
Here is a spiffy new mash tun that I have built from used food processing equipment. I have built a couple of these units for different breweries, and now I have a new style with a side manway. I can build these with or without side manways and is totally up to you how you would like them built.

Here are the features on the mash tun.

300 gallon flood volume, easily 1.090 OG at 7bbls or 1.070 at 10bbls
perforated stainless screen
side manway
1.5 inch triclover fitting outlet with butterfly valve
hinged lid with 3 openings
insulated, double wall, copper lines in core of bottom, may be used for hot water or steam
54 inch diameter, side wall 40 inches, 12 inch legs-or if you like I can add 24 inch legs if you are using a side manway

pm me for photos and Ill email them right away, or if you like, you can call me at 608-six oh six-8388

Price-$5000 with side manway, or $3500 without side manway. Unit is ready to ship and would take one week or less to arrive at your door once payment is made. The thermometer in the side of this unit is shown to show extra features, and it is a special order item, it would add $200 to the total. If you like the bike and junk in the background of the photo, you will know why these are so inexpensive. I do not have a ton of overhead, no big shop or warehouse, and store these tanks in my garage and though I could make the photos all sexy and expensive, what is the point of that, more expense to you for a photographer, imaging software, etc.

Email for more photos of kettles, and HLT. Leadtimes are about 2 months at this moment, but can change very rapidly.

I was wondering about some feedback on these systems from people who have purchased them. Efficiency, general thoughts, etc. Thanks..

Are you fabricating fermenters as well, or just brew houses? If so, what kind of prices for those?

Sorry, no fermenters, too much tooling to get started doing that. Anyhow, I make some sweet kettles and tuns and HLTs. Let me know what you need.

I wanted to update this thread since we received our equipment last week. James was great to work with and answered a lot of questions we had with a great attitude. He went out of his way to pick up a boiler that we found that was somewhat local to him so we could have it all come on the same truck. I can't even list how much we saved by using some used equipment. The equipment looks great. It it used so it is shows a little wear but nothing that wasn't expected.

We haven't used any of the equipment yet and will updated as soon as we do. I expect any problems we find will not be due to James and more so to the nature of equipment we aren't familiar with.
