Hello, we're looking for a manway door for a mid-90's DME fermenter. Ours is a 10 Bbl tank, and approx dimensions of the oval-shaped door would be 16.5" by 20.5". The manufacturer has changed their designs over the years, and doesn't make this type anymore. Any leads on a new or used door would be most appreciated, as would advice on reliable and reasonable fabricators (midwest preferred).
Thanks!

Vendome has worked on several of my stainless manway doors. From scratch it might get pricey, but I think you will run into that anywhere.

Didn't they use Zorzini? Did you try contacting DME? They are generally very helpful. Try gouldstainless.com or archonind.com as well. Good luck!

I've seen some Zorini on DME BBT's, but they were all 2000 era. Mueller makes a couple 15.5 x 20.5" oval manways MC-1 and MC-2 (http://www.muel.com/ProductDivisions/Component_Products/Manways/) are two examples. These are current issue DME as well. Call Ross MacKellop at DME +902-628-6900. Ross is the parts guy and has been there forever.
