Well, it's summer here in the Rockies!:D

I just noticed a Lagerfest in Manitou Springs, Colorado for 8/14-8/15 that is billed as America's First Solar Powered Lager Festival. Family fun and educational! Here's the link for more info.

Taos, New Mexico has the Solarfest happening soon where folks can hear great music and learn about solar energy realities. It's a 2 day event that's family friendly too. Here's that link. Taos also has the most powerful solar powered radio station in the world,,KTAO.

I sure am noticing beer, music and other festivals linking with solar and green energy education here in the Mountain West. I hope the trend continues.

What other "green" events are going on this summer?

Here in Boise last year there was a festival called Eco-Brew. It focused on beers almost exclusively from within a 500 mile radius of the city. It was somewhat well attended but the organizers have decided not to do it again.
