Hello! I'm looking to set up clear labels for our initial batch of beers. Something very much what like Heineken did:

Anybody have any idea on cost? Anyone you can point me to? And has anyone tried using a Chinese company for these labels?
Thanks!

Look at Spear Labels. The cost would be dependant on quantity, size, number of colors, etc.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I should have been clearer, but we are looking for clear adhesive labels. Not pressure sensitive labels. THX!

If you look at their web site you will see that they are one of the label suppliers for the Heineken bottle you were referring to. It is a clear pressure-sensitive label. They make various types of labels. One may be suitable for your application.

You want want to give the folks at the Tallgrass Brewery in Manhattan, KS a call. They are using clear adhesive lables IIRC.

Tallgrass is now entirely in cans according to their website but I have never heard of a clear adhesive for wet-glue cut and stack labels. The pattern (which comes from the label pallet would distort the label art which defeats the point of having a clear label. It would have to dry completely clear. I may be wrong but the concept seems to defy logic.
I have seen a white poly and a foil label done with wet glue. It has a special static treatment which makes it marginally more expensive and I have only seen it from the big guys.

I get clear pressure-sensitive labels from Taiwan. A set of two--neck and body--cost me about $0.035 in orders as small as 3,000. Flagging can be a problem when the bottles aren't completely dry. Good luck!

Great tip! I have been thinking about going to India or China to try and get these at a better cost.
