Hey Kenny, our sales guy Phil dropped by on his last trip to Ohio and loves your place. Nothing but good things to say about you guys. We are going to have to take a brewers holiday and all come up for some brews.

Beleive it or not, we use ketchup on our kettles. Its a two part process, and they shine like new when its done. This is how we do it, we have the kitchen(we are a brewpub) order large cans of ketchup. Then we take a soft sponge and rub it all over the copper, in large areas at a time, let it sit for a few minutes, then hose it off and let it dry. After it is dry, we go over it with a multi purpose metal polish paste from sysco. Buff that off and it has such a shine, you could use it as a mirror. We do this once every 10 days or so, and it doesnt get too bad in between. My guess is the acid in the tomatoes breaks down the tarnish. It goes on easy and after the initial tarnish is gone, the polish is easy on easy off as well. We tried using a diluted acid solution, but it just didnt do the same as the ketchup. The ketchup applies better and just seams to do a better job. My assisitant now affectionatly referrs to shining the copper as-"Hamburgering the joint"
