I am heading to Siebel mid year. I see several places Siebel recommends for accommodations.

Any recommendations on where to stay?

There really aren't a lot of hotels right by Siebel. I would say to stay somethere downtown close to the red line. You can take the red to a station 2-3 blocks away. The night life is a little better downtown than around Siebel (although the Goose Island brewery is a block away).

I did three Siebel modules, two weeks at a time, in three consecutive winters. Each time, I stayed at Hosteling International downtown. It's a quick train ride to Siebel, clean, comfortable, cheap, and with a great kitchen where you can save money by cooking for yourself. There was one night when I wasn't able to stay there (long story) and stayed at the hostel closer to Siebel (Arlington House). MUCH less pleasant.

Thanks for the suggestion. Subway ride should be fun and a new experience. I'll look at the Hosteling International downtown.
