I've had good luck with the 802 from White Labs. I would suggest calling your yeast supplier and I'm sure they would give you a great recommendation.

Good luck,

I use Fermentis' SafLager S-23 for my czech pils. Gives the right flavors with little sulphur. BTW: skip the carapils, use more base and mash in a couple of degrees warmer.

brewed my pils...92% munton's lager malt
ended up using wyeast danish lager yeast (by recommendation) #2042

beer smells and tastes clean, with a little sweet taste and smell

brewed and pitched 7/17 og=12.8 T=55
7/20 g=12.55 T=49
7/22 g=11.8 T=49
7/23 g=10.25 T=51

first time working with lager yeast and i know it'll take longer but i just wanted someone to check out my numbers, do they seem ok?

i was thinking maybe its finally through its lag period but i bumped it up a couple degrees to jump start it a little. blow off has a constant bubble.

seem ok so far?

Don't worry about the gravity yet. As a predominant ale maker I always would freak out about Gravity drop. It'll do fine. I have had 5 7 points G/day. I don't know that yeast but remeber to do a warm up later.
