Few people remember that the Stroh Brewing Company was the third largest brewery in the US in the 1980’s.
Today, the family has literally gone from a $9 billion (yes, that is a “B”) fortune to virtually zero.
“We made the decision to go national without having the budget,” says Greg Stroh in a Forbes article. “It was like going to a gunfight with a knife. We didn’t have a chance.”
