O-I PORTLAND GLASS PLANT TOUR – Owens-Illinois (O-I) offers tours of Portland plant to see how glass bottles are made. There will be two time slots on the morning of Tuesday, April 14, (9am & 10:30am) with transportation provided from the Oregon Convention Center to the O-I plant. THE 2015 OSKAR BLUESENCORE WITH PINNER – Jupiter Hotel 800 E Burnside St., PDX,
6:30pm – 1am. The Oskar Blues ENCORE will be the party closing out the 2015 Craft Brewers Conference (and the sole CBC Official Nightly Event on Friday), celebrating the release of OB’s newest brew, Pinner. Hosted by White Labs, the throw-down for this throwback IPA will take over the entire outdoor compound of the Jupiter Hotel with a barcade and lounge, and will feature a VIP Hang Zone and live entertainment in the Doug Fir Bar & Rock Club. Pinner IPA Happy Hour starts at 6:30.


ARTISAN BREWERS’ WORKSHOP – “Fermenter to Finishing”, Lucky Labrador Brewpub on 1945 NW Quimby Street from 9am-5:30pm. Karl Ockert’s Artisan Brewers’ Workshop is offering a full day training class discussing and exploring the magic of fermentation and demystifying what happens during the cellar aging of specialty beers.  The class is perfect for the practicing brewer seeking more brewing education and for those who are new to the craft.
